Marcus Nilsson shoots a plethora of potatoes for Real Simple Magazine's November 2016 Edition! The Thanksgiving feature shoot took place at the Time Inc. Studio in New York City. Marcus got up close and personal with eight different potato recipes, from garlic mashed to crème fraîche smashed. We are just about ready to dig into these sweet and savory recipes!

Saying our final goodbyes to sunny skies, poolside slushies, and shorts with this series of Instagram shots taken by Marcus Nilsson who traveled from coast to coast this summer on his Harley! Marcus covered 3,746 miles and 14 states in just 13 days. During his excursion, he saw the grandiose landscapes of the Grand Canyon, rode America's dream drive a.k.a. the Pacific Coast Highway, and lived it up in Los Angeles with good grub and gorgeous views. With his iPhone in one hand and the other on the handlebar, Marcus managed to snap a few fun photos from his East Coast to West Coast journey.

Marcus Nilsson traveled to Portland, OR to shoot for the "Best New Restaurants in America" issue of Bon Appetit. Number four on the list is Luce, an authentic, simple restaurant that, according to the feature is, "Italian home cooking to its core". Some of the dishes on the menu that sound absolutely delish and look even better (awesome shots, Marcus!) are "Eggplant, Mozarella and Saffron rice bake", "Spaghettini with Garlic and Dried Chile", "Braised Chicken with Capers and Parsley". Is it lunch time?
In mid-July Marcus Nilsson and his team came together to do a shoot for Chobani Yogurt. There has been a ton of buzz about the opening of the Chobani Yogurt bar here in NYC's trendy SoHo and we are excited that Marcus was asked to shoot the advertising!
Don't know what this "yogurt craze" is all about? Here is some info on Chobani and the store from a recent article in INC magazine:
"The new shop sells an array of sweet and savory fresh, chilled yogurt options (under $4 per bowl). The location will act as a sort of testing site for new flavor concoctions. On opening day, the most popular flavor was a pistachio and chocolate, which includes fresh yogurt from the New York yogurt plant, as well as honey, oranges, and mint leaves."
